@wyadlon Hello. The flavor seeps into the meat as well. And the shell adds flavor to the sauce and meat. Some people like to remove the sticky garlic from the shell with their mouth before peeling and eating.

I guess there's no point in making this recipe since it wont taste good with any other shrimp except U-15.

I made this recently and it was good but I was wondering why you leave the shell on. Doesn't that make it so when you peel, you are peeling off the shell which has all of the garlic and flavor on it?

@xInstinctful Aha. It's just steamed sticky rice, prepared as directed on the bag. The bits of cooked garlic make it very tasty. :)
